Review on: Cover Girl - Professional Mascara in Black
I have tried many mascaras in search of the perfect one, and I think I have finally found it. This gives my lashes exactly the look I want- thick, yet lengthened, without looking like false lashes- just naturally pretty lashes. I am using the one with the curved brush, and it seems to enhance my already curly lashes. To top it all off the price is very reasonable. Love love!

Review on: Cover Girl - Professional Mascara in Black
Cover Girl Professional Mascara (curved brush in the royal blue tube) was the first mascara I ever bought when I started using makeup. Years and years passed and I wasn't really loving the numerous brands I tried, so I went back to Professional since I pretty much forgot what I thought about it. Over the yeras I've become much more critical about mascara, and I was pleasantly re-surprised by this!

This is actually a pretty good quality basic mascara. You can achieve a number of different looks with this...you can look pretty natural with one coat, a nice amount of length with two, and some nice length and more volume with three. It is more "layerable" than some mascaras I've tried. I personally enjoy the curved brush but I think there's a straight brush option also. I don't run into a lot of clumps with this (although I'm very meticulous with my mascara application), and you get a nice black color. If you want a versatile mascara for around 4 bucks, give this a shot!

Pros: versatile, minimal clumps, great for everyday
Cons: an older CG product so you don't hear much about it anymore
